Dog boarding in New Jersey can be a difficult thing to find. Even more so when you want the very best for your dog. Ain't Misbehavings Canine Sleep Over is not a kennel, but a private home dog boarding service.  We will give your canine kids more love than they would ever find in any traditional or glorified dog kennel. Our almost cageless dog boarding allows your dog to be active and social with others...  Whether business, pleasure or emergency we are here for all of your dog boarding, dog sitting and doggie day care needs!

Here at Ain't Misbehaving's Canine Sleep Over, on the border of Ocean and Monmouth county, our goal is to provide your best friend with a great place to stay... From our dog boarding service to our Doggie Day Care, we strive to give your loved ones a literal home away from home...

With any of our pet sitting services, the younger pups are given an opportunity to learn from others and gain confidence... The younger adults play, socialize and expend lots of energy...

Our geriatric crew - well, what can we say - they pretty much do whatever they enjoy... Hanging around, eating, and sleeping most of the day...  We are happy to dispense medications your dog of any age might require, that you supply...

No matter who your child is, there is always an abundance of Hugs, Kisses and Belly rubs...

The history of Ain't Misbehaving's Canine Sleep Over is a very simple one... It's how one woman found a way to do what she truly loves...

It surpassed being a dog boarding business to becoming a way of life that the owner Audrey de Gaster started over 25 years ago... She attended classes to train her own pet dogs which blossomed into a 5 year apprenticeship to become a trainer herself... To that she THANKS Kathy Marr who currently lives in Virginia... Audrey then left the corporate world to pursue her life's passion - Dogs...

For years, Audrey worked with many types of dogs and their owners in a variety of training arenas... From the show ring to agility to house manners, and on into behavioral modification. She relished in what she did...

As time went by, Audrey heard the complaints of many who were reluctant, or outright refused, to leave their "Kids" in a traditional dog kennel... She herself missed out on many vacation opportunities for the very same reason... If a friend or relative wasn't available to pet sit for her dogs - she simply didn't travel... Then, there came the day she did a "Favor" of dog sitting for one of her training clients... The rest you could say is History...

Audrey believes, as many do, that while some dogs may be suitable for a dog kennel - most are not... In recent years - Dog owners have elevated their furry canines to "Family Member" status - giving them a lifestyle similar to their own. This is the very root and foundation of the Ain't Misbehaving Canine Sleep Over concept of home style dog boarding and day care...

As dog sitters, we firmly believe our four legged children should have a safe, fun loving environment when their owners are away... While we could never totally duplicate your home, we strive to be the most pleasurable alternative...

We don't just give you a place to Kennel your dog... We have created a camp for "Four Legged Children"... Ain't Misbehaving's Canine Sleep Over has grown into a life of it's own over the years... Although the main dog sitting concept will always remain the same - we continually strive to insure each dog in our care has a great stay... Interaction is the key word here, and we work very hard to make everyone comfortable and content... Your dog isn't just an animal in a kennel - they are integrated into our home style boarding with other similar dog friends...

While dog sitting, we take time to know each dog as an individual... Thus allowing us the opportunity to provide highly personalized care... So if your dog is rambunctious he/she will be in a play group with similar personalities. If your dog is a docile or geriatric once again, they will be with similar types of dogs.

Sometime in April, 2007 - Rhonda joined our happy family... Rhonda worked for a Labrador breeder for over 2 years, gaining an invaluable knowledge of dog behavior. It's wonderful that all the dogs and people love and adore her... She is a pleasure to have with us...

On the "Four Legged" end of our dog boarding business - We adopted Yoda on Jan 14, 2006 from a local animal shelter at 8 years old. Weighing in at about 10 pounds - his main job is simply being "Cute and make us laugh".

Gabby is our newest addition... Our neighbor woke up on Dec 19, 2009 and found her on his door step... We searched for her owners but with no success... Gabby is a wonderful young child, who's full of energy... She is a pleasure to be around and all the "4 Legged and 2 Legged" friends love playing with her...
